ST-21. [SI,FP,SP,CR,MI] [Trans-Division Symposium] Challenges for Realizing Sustainable Society and Nonlinear Dynamics Analysis

Organizer(s): Horie Takafumi (Kobe Univ.), Hidema Ruri (Kobe Univ.), Yamaki Takehiro (Nat. Inst. of Adv. Ind. Sci. and Tech. (AIST)), Ban Takahiko (Osaka Univ.)

What agenda do we, chemical engineers, need to focus on to realize sustainable society? With the development of utilization of hydrogen and renewable energy and micro or multi-scale production processes, a vision of the future for decentralized (or dispersed) material and energy production society can be painted. To keep up with this shift, we must have a perspective of nonlinear dynamics such as analysis for variation of operational or environmental disturbance and deliberate application of dynamic conditions. In this cross-sectional symposium, we aim at active discussion for realization of the sustainable society through presentations from a wide range of fields like process system engineering, reaction kinetic analysis, transport phenomena and modeling etc.
