SP-1. [Special Symposium] Action Plan 2050 Toward a Carbon-free Society Based on Chemical Engineering

In the Vision Symposium of the 86th SCEJ Annual Meeting, we discussed the domestic and international situation toward a decarbonized society, carbon cycle technology by capturing and converting into resources of diluted and dispersed CO2, and domestic and international trends toward social implementation to achieve zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. This was followed by a discussion on the zero-emissions challenge of chemical engineering.

In the Special Session of the 52nd SCEJ Meeting, which is open to the public, we invite your wide range of proposals for energy and environmental innovations and their social implementation. This session will be scheduled as a poster session in a format that allows for interactive communication during the whole period of 52nd SCEJ Meeting. Some of the proposals will be invited as oral presentations.
