SY-68. [Symposium of Division of Biochemical Engineering] Development of Cell Culture in Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering Approach

Organizer(s): Horiguchi Ikki (Osaka Univ.), Horie Masanobu (Kyoto Univ.), Nishikawa Masaki (Univ. of Tokyo)

Cell culture is one of the essential technologies in the field of biomedical engineering such as the production of biopharmaceuticals, cell products, and the construction of tissues and artificial organs for transplantation. In addition, it also requires many chemical engineering approaches. In this symposium, we will discuss useful chemical engineering approaches in cell culture through presentations of new cell culture technologies in the field of biomedical engineering. (Please note that oral session submissions may be moved to the poster session.)
