In the last annual meeting, Chemical Industry Technology Forum called "State-of-the-art of countermeasure technologies for earthquake disaster reconstruction and nuclear accident" was organized. There are still many problems to be solved such as the purifications of contaminated soil and water, waste disposal in the building site, and the volume reduction of soil at the intermediate treatment facility though almost four years have already passed after the disaster.In this symposium, researchers from other academic societies will be invited, and the possibility of proposing a general guideline of the acceleration of earthquake disaster reconstruction focusing on the collaboration among related societies will be discussed.
