Within the situations in which the conversion of Japanese industrial structure is being sought -- the situations of the rise of emerging countries, the falling birthrate and the overseas transfer of industrial bases, etc.,-- the creation of new industrial areas is indispensable to the sustainable development in the next generation.In this session, the cutting-edge technologies originated from chemical engineering, from the various fields, such as the newly developed transport machinery, agriculture, environment and chemical materials, is overviewed to search the form of chemical engineering that offers the hopes for the future generation.
