13th SCEJ Students Meeting in Akita (2011)

Exception to lack of novelty of invention

On 10th November 1960 the Commissioner of the Japan Patent Office designated the Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan as an academic group defined by Article 30 of Japan's Patent Act. An invention presented in writing at the Meeting of SCEJ shall be deemed not have been publicly known or worked by the presentation itself within six months from the date on which the presentation in writing is made. The Book of Preprints of the Meeting is usually issued one month before the first day of the Meeting.
