K-1 Recent Gas Hydrate Researches for Building a Sustainable Society

Organizers: Sugahara Takeshi (Osaka Univ.), Muromachi Sanehiro (AIST), Komatsu Hiroyuki (Niigata Univ.)

The international symposium on gas hydrates, not only as an energy resource but also as a key material in some expected applications using gas hydrates (gas separation, storage and transportation, thermal storage, desalination, etc.) will be held. We invite Prof. Praveen Linga from National University of Singapore (2019 Winner of The SCEJ Award for Outstanding Asian Researcher and Engineer) and some academic and industrial researchers. We would like to inform you from various research fields and deepen discussion on the physical properties and applications of gas hydrates for building a sustainable society.
