Potential of Startups based in Chemical Engineering

Organizers: Nishiyama Norikazu (Osaka Univ.), Tokoro Chiharu (Waseda Univ.), Goto Masahiro (Kyushu Univ.), Kitakawa Naomi (Tohoku Univ.), Matsuda Keigo (Nagoya Univ.), Koyama Michihisa (Shinshu Univ.)

As a driving force for sustainable economic growth, there is great expectation for startups, particularly deep tech startups that use cutting-edge technology to address deep-seated social issues. The Society of Chemical Engineering is expected to serve as a center of academic talents with deep tech expertise. This symposium is intended to discuss the potential of creating startups and changing society.
