SV-1 Chemical Engineering Vision Symposium 2 - Expected Role of Chemical Engineering Toward Achievement of the SDGs

Organizer: Hirao Masahiko (Univ. of Tokyo), Matsukata Masahiko (Waseda Univ.), Adschiri Tadafumi (Tohoku Univ.)

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted at the United Nations in 2015 shows 17 goals for establishing a sustainable society by the year 2030. The SDGs include many issues that chemical engineers can contribute to the achievement, such as climate change, resource depletion, energy supply and extension of innovation.
