The Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan, announced the "Sapporo Declaration on the United Nations SDGs - Chemical Engineering for Human Well-Being -" in September 2019. One of this declaration's objectives is promoting human well-being in collaboration with academic communities, the private sector, and governments from diverse disciplines and regions.
The second target of the Sustainable Development Goal 12: "Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns" is to achieve the sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources. In this symposium, we invite diverse players acting for "Circular Economy," and discuss how we can collaborate.

The forum plans to have keynote lectures from the Women's Award Winner who have achieved outstanding technology and research achievements related to chemical engineering, and also the invited and requested female researchers and engineers will talk on their outstanding R&D activities. We aim to increase motivation for research by using this lectures as a reference for role models of female engineers, researchers and students.
