Registration Guide (86th Annual Meeting / IChES 2021)

The Registration Period-III is now avilable by 12:00 (JST) of March 22. Only credit cards can be used for payment.

There are three registration periods. Only credit cards can be used at the Period-III. If you want to pay the fee by bank transfer, please make the registration at Period-I or Period-II.

To attend the Meeting, you need to register as a participant to the event, and pay the fee.
Registered participants of the SCEJ 86th Annual Meeting OR the International Chemical Engineering Symposia 2021 (IChES 2021) can attend the BOTH meetings.

Free registration only for participants from overseas (except speakers)

Registration is FREE for those living outside Japan, and attending IChES 2021 (K-1 (part of SV-1) to K-6, and IS-1) as an audience (not as a speaker).

Please note registration is NOT free if you are an speaker, living in Japan or attending the SCEJ 86th Annual Meeting.
Payment is also necessary if you wish to receive the program booklet by post.

Registration is not necessary if you are an invited speaker.

Free registration to the Public sessions

In the 86th Annual Meeting, the following sessions are open to the public. Registration is FREE for participants attending only for those sessions as an audience (not as a speaker). Please note registration is NOT free if you are a speaker or attending any other sessions.

The attendee and the speaker (except invited person) must register to attend the meeting.

If the speaker (except invited person) will not complete both the registration to the meeting and the payment of the registration fee;
SCEJ individual member (Both meetings): The registration fee (Price of Period-III) of the present meeting will be involved in the next bill of the SCEJ annual member fee.
Other than SCEJ individual member (SCEJ Annual Meeting): We will send a letter to ask the speaker to join the SCEJ Individual Member, attached with a bill of the registration fee (Price of Period-III). If the speaker will not join the SCEJ Individual Member, the speaker will not be able to become an applicant and/or a speaker of the presentation at the future SCEJ Annual and Autumn Meetings and IChES.
Other than SCEJ individual member (IChES-only speaker): We will resend a bill of the registration fee (Price of Period-III). If the speaker will not pay the fee, the speaker will not be able to become an applicant and/or a speaker of the presentation at the future IChES and SCEJ Annual and Autumn Meetings.

Registration periods

Period-I [closed]		January 5(Tue) - January 31(Sun), 2021 Discount available. The early access to the Preprints(Abstracts) is available. The fee can be paid by credit card or bank transfer. The registration can be cancelled by the end day of Period-II.
Period-II [closed]		February 1(Mon) - February 20(Sat), 2021 No discount. The early access to the Preprints(Abstracts) is available. The fee can be paid by credit card or bank transfer. The registration can be cancelled by the end day of Period-II.
Period-III		March 9(Tue) - 12:00 of March 22(Mon), 2021 No discount. No early access to the Preprints(Abstracts). The fee can be paid by credit card. No cancellation.

Program book and “Book of Preprints(Abstracts)”

Both the program book and the “Book of Preprints(Abstracts)” will be sent to the registered participants who wish to get them, respectively.

Both the Japanese and English programs are included in the Program book.
All the Preprints for IChES 2021 and for the International Symposia in the SCEJ 86th Annual Meeting are written in English, but most of the Preprints for other sessions in the SCEJ 86th Annual Meeting are written in Japanese.

Program book	No extra charge (included in the Conference fee). It will contain the programs of both the SCEJ 86th Annual Meeting and IChES 2021.
“Book of Preprints(Abstracts)”	Sold SEPARATELY at 3,300 JPY/each (TAX included). It will contain the preprints of both the SCEJ 86th Annual Meeting and IChES 2021.
Will be sent by post. (Overseas delivery is available.) Delays may occur depending on postal circumstances and registration date. If you want to get them before the meeting, please make your registration at Period-I or Period-II and state an address in Japan.
