Access

On-site and Online Attendance

Part of the sessions will use bidirectional live streaming from the on-site venue. The rest of the sessions will be held online. All presentations will be streamed on the internet, whichever the session type is.

You may choose On-site and Online Attendance for ALL sessions.

Notice for on-site Attendees: The white- or green-back sessions on the Technical sessions page will be held on-line. Please bring your Zoom-installed PC with you if you are planning to attend these sessions.

Access for On-site Attendance

The venue is Nagano (Engineering) Campus of Shinshu University (4-17-1, Wakasato, Nagano City 380-8553).
Please be careful not to confuse it with Nagano (Education) Campus.

Access from Nagano station

Nagaden Bus:	Nagaden Bus stop No. 21 at EAST exit of Nagano Station. Take a No. 81 bus for "ARCS-chuo", "BIG HAT", or "Mizuno museum". Get off at "Shindai kogakubu" (about 5 min; JPY 180) and walk about 2 min. - around 2 trips per hour.
Alpico Bus:	Alpico Bus stop No. 2 at ZENKOJI exit of Nagano Station. Take a bus for "Otsuka Minami", "Matsuoka", or "Sunmarine". Get off at "Shindai kogakubu-mae" (about 8 min; JPY 180) and walk about 5 min. - around 4 trips per hour.
Taxi:	When taking a taxi, please make sure to mention "Kougakubu" of Shinshu University in order to avoid confusion between the other campuses. About 5 min from Nagano station.
on Foot:	About 20 minutes from East exit of Nagano Station.

Access to Nagano station

from Tokyo:	Hokuriku Shinkansen (about 1.5 hours)
from Nagoya:	Ltd.Exp. "Shinano" (about 3 hours)
from Osaka (1):	Tokaido Shinkansen and Ltd.Exp. "Shinano" (Transfer at Nagoya) (about 4 hours)
from Osaka (2):	Ltd.Exp. "Thunderbird" and Hokuriku Shinkansen (Transfer at Kanazawa) (about 4 hours)
Shinshu Matsumoto airport:	Take an Airport Shuttle bus to "Matsumoto bus terminal" (30 min.). Walk to Matsumoto station (3 min) and take a train for Nagano (about 1 hour). (about 2 hours in total)

Notice

• No on-site registration. Please use online registration.
• Check your health everyday.
• Wear mask and use your own head-set mic.
• Do not enter beyond the allowed area.
• Only E1 building will open on Sep. 13. (Registration and Cloakroom are temporarily on E1.)
• Temperature measurement will be conducted. Please come to Registration (W2 1F, but E1 3F for Sep. 13) first everyday. [Campus and Hall maps]
• Write your name on the list when entering and leaving the room.
• No Smoking in the Campus.
• Follow the instructions of the staff.

Eating and Drinking

• Eating and Drinking are allowed ONLY at Cafeteria, Hall EA, and Waiting Room. [Campus and Hall maps]
• Nearby shops are Co-op shop in the campus and supermarket and FamilyMart near the North gate.

Access for Online Attendance

Please prepare Zoom to use and access the SCEJ "GOING VIRTUAL".
The ID and PW will be sent by e-mail to the registered participants and invited persons on Sep. 12 or 13.
